Travanti Pharma Inc. is taking a targeted approach in pursuing identified markets and indications within the Electronic (iontophoretic) Drug Delivery (EDD) opportunity.

The Company's current focus is on its WEDD^® Technology platform to provide effective, self-contained, disposable and safe electronic transdermal drug delivery (ETD). WEDD products combine the simplicity and cost-effectiveness of a passive transdermal system with greater electronic drug delivery capabilities and control...e.g., a "smart patch". This is accomplished through Travanti Pharma Inc.'s proprietary battery/control technology and drug integration system.

WEDD^® New Drug Form Strategy for Targeted Therapeutic Indications

Travanti Pharma Inc.'s strategy is to develop WEDD product applications as value-added new drug forms via NDA approval for targeted therapeutic indications. Each product is a customized integration of the targeted drug in the patch for the indication. The WEDD system is focused where it can deliver a drug cost effectively, for an indication in a more safe, effective, convenient or compliant manner than other dosage forms.

The Company will partner, co-develop and commercialize products under license with select pharmaceutical companies for specific targeted drugs and indications. It has analyzed and prioritized drug applications and indications.

Commercialized IontoPatch^® Brand Device for the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Market

As a supportive effort to facilitate WEDD proof-of-concept and provide revenue, the Company developed, commercialized and began marketing its initial product application of the WEDD Technology Platform as a medical device (IontoPatch). The product was commercialized, test marketed and successfully launched into the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Market in the U.S. nationally in April 2001 and internationally in July 2002. The product line is distributed and sold by distribution partners under agreement. The product is used primarily by physical therapists, occupational therapists and sports medicine professionals for site-specific therapy to treat a variety of conditions. The Company has successfully demonstrated the ability to manufacture the IontoPatch at high volume and low cost.
