The IontoPatch® is Travanti Pharma Inc.'s initial commercial product (device) application of its WEDD® Technology platform.
The IontoPatch is an extended time-released electronic transdermal drug delivery system designed for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Market. The IontoPatch was commercialized, test marketed and successfully launched into the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Market in the U.S. in April 2001 and is eligible for billing under the existing iontophoretic code. It is used primarily by physical therapists, occupational therapists and sports medicine professionals for site-specific therapy to treat a variety of conditions. In addition, the Company has recently developed a product line extension, IontoPatch® SP, designed to treat conditions involving the hand, fingers, wrist and feet. Beta Testing of the SP Product has been completed and the product was introduced into the market in the third quarter of 2002. |
